SPECTACULAR NEW TEEN CLUB OPENS AT ATLANTIS RESORT

For teenagers at Atlantis, Paradise lsland, Bahamas, the new $11 million cutting-edge CRUSH that opened on January 1, 2011, takes the traditional teen club concept to new levels of imagination and innovation.  Designed by renowned architect and interior designer Jeffrey Beers and purchased by The Parker Company, the 14,000 square-foot mod-inspired space boasts: an interactive Internet Lounge Gaming Stadium with a 22-foot floor-to-ceiling Gaming Tree and private cabanas stocked with state-of-the-art technology, including the newly launched Microsoft flagship motion sensor product Kinect for Xbox 360; and a 1500 square-foot Dance Club complete with multi-purpose video walls, performance stage, and VIP sections.

“Today’s teenagers may very well be the most discerning, savvy, and independently-minded clientele so CRUSH at Atlantis is designed to create a stimulating environment that incorporates the latest technology in innovative ways to inspire interaction between guests,” says Jeffrey Beers.

The Parker Company was contracted by Kerzner International to provide FFE purchasing services for CRUSH which includes the buyout of all FFE interior furnishings, from the decorative light fixtures to the interactive gaming chairs.

“The teen and tween audiences are becoming increasingly powerful when determining where families will go on their holiday,” says George Markantonis, President and Managing Director, Kerzner International Bahamas. “CRUSH provides teens with a new and exciting experience on property unlike anything else in the marketplace today.

As a leader in family and teen vacations, Atlantis Resort continues to re-define the resort experience by offering an abundance of edutainment and educational entertainment opportunities, a variety  of accommodations and an array of culinary experiences, all built around a 141-acre waterscape comprised of over 20 million gallons of fresh and  saltwater lagoons, pools and habitats.

As a leader in hospitality procurement, TPC has been responsible for the FFE and OSE procurement at Atlantis since the original opening of the resort.
