HILTON WINDHOEK OPENS IN NAMIBIA

Thanks to the procurement expertise of The Parker Company, Hilton Windhoek opened as Hilton Worldwide’s 50th hotel in the Middle East and Africa and expanding the Hilton Hotels & Resorts portfolio to 77 countries.

Officially opened by the President of Namibia, Mr Hifikepunye Pohamba, the 150-room property is located in the heart of the CBD near Freedom Square, just 20 minutes away from Hosea Kutako International airport. It is operated under a management agreement with the United Africa Group.

TPC managed all of the FFE and OSE for the project, and coordinated the logistics to Namibia. TPC has had extensive experience in Southern Africa and is familiar with the logistical difficulties with deliveries and inland transportation. “Fortunately we had an excellent team in place and we found solutions to whatever hit us” stated Philip Parker, Partner at TPC.
