TPC IN THE STARTING LINEUP FOR NEW MARLINS BALLPARK

If you look towards the East from The Parker Company’s office, you can see the incredible new Marlins Ballpark rising adjacent to downtown Miami, which is quite convient for TPC’s clients, the Florida Marlins and Hunt/Moss.

TPC was selected to provide FF&E and OS&E purchasing services for the new Marlins Ballpark which include public areas, the Founders and Legends Suites, and the Marlins Executive Offices as well as operating equipment packages for Game Day Operations, Facility Operations, Maintenance & Housekeeping, Theme, Sports/Event Equipment, Consession & Foodservice, and AV/IT Technology.

The future home of the Marlins will be a first-class baseball stadium that will be owned by Miami-Dade County, and is being built on approximately 17 acres of the historic 42-acre Orange Bowl site in the Little Havana section of Miami. The ballpark will have a natural grass playing field, 37,000 seats, and a retractable roof which will virtually eliminate rain delays or cancellations.

State of the art facilities include an open 360-degree Promenade Level, giving fans a live view of the playing field no matter where they are, The Taste of Miami concession stands, The Signature Bar looking out at Miami’s skyline and the Founders and Legends Suites which are located directly behind home plate and offer upscale contemporary furnishings, exquisite five-star quality food and beverage options, and unrivaled personalized service.

According to Doug Parker, TPC Partner in charge of the purchasing effort, “The new ballpark is designed to be perfect for baseball, and is expected to be the coolest ballpark built to date”. The Ballpark includes a operable wall in left field providing fans with spectacular views of downtown Miami and will feature world-class art throughout.
