OVERVIEW

TPC Miami and TPC Dubai Joint effort Opens Mazagan Beach Resort

Mazagan Beach Resort opened this month as a 5-Star One & Only property in El Jadida, Morocco and is expected to attract up to 4 million visitors a year. The resort encompasses 617 acres, with an 18-hole golf course designed by Gary Player, eight restaurants, 20,000 square feet of spa development, 500 guestrooms and suites, and 21,000 square feet of conference and ballroom space meticulously purchased by a joint effort of two Parker offices.

With the Client in the Bahamas, the designer in Dallas and the property in Morocco, The Parker Company used its international offices to the client’s advantage. ”Two years before the opening, the focus of the job is on the FFE side,” stated Doug Parker, President of TPC. “Using our Miami based FF&E team who has worked on previous projects with the client and designer, made perfect sense to get  the FF&E budgeting and merchandising done.”
“Six to eight months out the focus shifts to OS&E and operations, so we utilized our Mid-East regional office in Dubai to complete the OS&E portion of the job. We have a unique opportunity to best serve our clients on a project like Mazagan, where we can provide a higher level of service through our international presence.” added Parker.
